Nick Payne is a critically acclaimed playwright whose work has been nominated for an Olivier and a Tony. He made his Broadway debut with Constellations, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, and recently wrote the screenplay for the A24 romantic drama We Live in Time, starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh.
Nicola Walker has also wowed audiences across the screen and stage, having starred in Spooks, Unforgotten, and The Split. She’s currently starring in Unicorn at the Garrick Theatre.
In an age of retellings and remakes, it’s refreshing to see an original piece of storytelling from a rising star playwright – particularly when it’s being performed in a brilliant venue like the Royal Court, which prides itself on cultivating the voices of a diverse range of writers.
