The iconic short story has been relocated to a Cornish fishing village by the writers Jethro Compton and Darren Clark, who have created an extraordinary tale about a timeless love that survives despite everything. Compton is a British writer, director and theatre producer loved for his work on the world première of The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Wolf’s Blood, Syrenia and more. Musician and lyricist Darren Clark has previously worked on Turing A Musical, The Wicker Husband, The Coup Coup Club and more.

The action takes place at the end of World War One, following Benjamin Button as he lives through the twentieth century, born as an old man and getting younger by the day. In a truly extraordinary musical that reminds us to make every second count, Benjamin Button is keen to find a place where he can belong. Will he find it? Only time and tide will tell.
